* Reduce Portfolio Volatility – 32%

* High Risk-Adjusted Returns - 32%

* High Absolute Returns – 16%

While the potential to create and provide steady income were the number one and number two reasons for investing in real estate, according to the infographic below from Piktochart, pride of ownership and long-term ownership were also important factors.

Some of the cons for real estate ownership include:
